Altering Perceptions for the New Year! 337

This is a thought provoking poem . I want you to read it from top to bottom

I’m very ugly,

so don’t try to convince me that

I am very beautiful person

Because at the end of the day

I hate myself in every single way

And I’m not going to lie to myself by saying ]

There is beauty inside of me that matters

So rest assured I will remind myself

That I am a worthless, terrible person

And nothing you say will make me believe

I still deserve love

Because no matter what

I am not good enough to be loved

And I am in no position to believe that

Beauty does exist within me

Because whenever I Look in the mirror I always think

Am I as ugly as people say

(Now read from bottom up)

Go for it!  I want on my grave stone she burned out instead of rusted out!  What do you want them to say about you?

Ask yourself are your actions and speaking in alignment with what you are committed to? Look at what are the habitual patterns that have that commitment thwarted?  Are you willing to take responsibility for when it doesn’t go that way you want or the way you expected and clean up your part? Are you willing to let go of Expectations of yourself and others?  What are you not being truthful about to yourself and others.

Our thoughts can be like a junk drawer-we need to take inventory and get rid of what is  not useful! (wendy b)
