How Effective are your Listening Skills 347

Effectiveness

How effective are you in really listening to what is going on with some one else? Especially when they committed to do something and seem to be back peddling now.. I assert if that is happening, start asking questions and really listen for what is stopping them from fulfilling their commitment. Its usually fear of something. Don’t assume you know, don’t judge. Can you step outside your own emotions on this one? Can you view things entirely fro their perspective of the situation. The more skillful you are at listening the chances are the person might be able to recommit and there is a win, win for all

Are you willing to let go of Expectations of yourself and others?  What are you not being truthful about to yourself and others.
