If you want to master your emotions you need to distinguish what is occurring right now from a past memory. If you are feeling a strong emotion. Stop, close your eyes and yawn and stretch. Then ask yourself after yawing and stretching. Is this really happening right now or is it a memory from the past that is clouding my judgement of what is happening right now?
