Retraining Your Brain

If you want to retrain your brain, one way is keeping a Gratitude Journal and practice daily Mindful Gratitude. I promise you will at least have 5 Benefits to practicing mindful gratitude daily. Start keeping a journal.

Mindset

By keeping a Gratitude Journal and putting at least 5 things you are grateful for daily you will alter your mindset. I used to never be grateful no matter what. I just took it for granted or was critical because it didn’t turn out exactly like I thought it should. I have been practicing Mindful Gratitude for 30 years and I promise no matter what I have to deal with, within a short time and usual immediately I see something to be grateful for. It wasn’t like that 40 years ago I promise.

Mindful

Practicing mindful gratitude helps you be more thoughtful and caring of others. When there is a breakdown you can resolve it through creating solutions. You can get down to facts and ways to resolve things rather than getting angry and blaming others.

HAPPY & FULFILLED

I notice that I am not depressed. I used to have a lot of sad days. I can’t remember the last time I was depressed. Even during difficult times I might have moments of sadness I certainly don’t have days of sadness, Practicing mindful gratitude daily helps me live a very fulfilling life.

PRODUCTIVE

I don’t focus on whats not working anymore. I call people who can support me in creating a solutions so that I can focus on whats important right now. I look at what am I committed to and then I just move forward. I am producing more results then ever. Whats happening is, when I produce more results there are bigger breakdowns and I get to live an interesting fulfilled purposeful life

AUTHENTIC FRIENDSHIPS

Before practicing mindful gratitude I was very critical of others. People did not enjoy having me around, They invited me out of obligation, duty. I didn’t even spend much time with family. Now a week doesn’t go by without one or two of my siblings calling and talking to me. Before it was like 3 to 4 times a year. I don;t have a car and friends gladly go out of their way to pick me up and take me with them to places and they gladly do that. People love my energy and love to hang with me.

Go for it!  I want on my grave stone she burned out instead of rusted out!  What do you want them to say about you?

Ask yourself are your actions and speaking in alignment with what you are committed to? Look at what are the habitual patterns that have that commitment thwarted?  Are you willing to take responsibility for when it doesn’t go that way you want or the way you expected and clean up your part? Are you willing to let go of Expectations of yourself and others?  What are you not being truthful about to yourself and others.

Our thoughts can be like a junk drawer-we need to take inventory and get rid of what is  not useful! (wendy b)
